Mr Dashwood and I met twelve years ago today.
To mark the occasion which has subsequently provided me with such felicity and contentment over the years, I put some flowers on his desk at the club, and he took me to sup at a nearby Oriental establishment.

I wanted to design a new fictional character from scratch, but design isn't my strongest suit. Some failed sketches.
2 January
We joined the Winterbottoms, Mr Nob, and another guest for an evening of supper and games. It took me a few turns, but I eventually got the hang of it.

Today we rung in the New Year by taking down our Christmas decorations and putting up simpler lights in anticipation of Valentine's Day.
